What flows through when…

Passion, What makes us human…

IMG_4685 I’ve officially become addicted to biking. 🚴‍♀️ Climbing Montebello this morning, I caught myself wondering why moments of physical struggle can feel so deeply, undeniably human. I’m proud to be one of those “crazy” cyclists who willingly sacrifice sleep just to grind up a hill most people would avoid. That quiet thought stayed with me—and it was enough to push me through a short stretch of the climb and snag a PR.

This is what makes us human.

AI can analyze this climb, optimize my pacing, and absolutely judge me for taking that sugar chew too late 😅. It can generate the photos I share and map the “perfect” ride. But it can’t feel the adrenaline near the top—or that quiet, ridiculous joy of choosing to suffer and making it anyway.

… well at least not yet…

And this is how my blog started.

I’d be curious—what makes you feel human? 🙂

I’m just grateful for where I live—and that my legs still work—so I can keep finding experiences like this.
