I’ve officially become addicted to biking. 🚴♀️
I was riding up Montebello this morning when that thought hit me—and honestly, I’m proud to be one of those “crazy” cyclists who would sacrifice sleeping in just to climb a hill. That thought helped me PR a short stretch.
But the next thought carried me the rest of the way up:
This is what makes us human.
Sure, AI can learn and generate the photos I put up here. It can probably do a much better job mapping out when I needed to pop in more sugar chews 😅 so I could boost myself through that final stretch up to the top. However AI cannot experience the genuine conscious excitement and the adrenaline that hits when I finally made it up that little monster climb.
… well at least not yet…
And this is how my blog started here!!

I’m just grateful for where I live—and that my legs still work—so I can keep finding experiences like this.
